Just a note for now, I can't update Overchan for a bit because I can't get into the FTP server. Then I forgot blogger dropped FTP support, so I have no connection to the server to update... Currently sent an email out and trying to get to the bottom of it.

Posted Sunday, November 27, 2011 by Mohey Pori !m0hEY/p0RI. 17 Comments (Reply Here) [email] Okay, so after months of email build up, I actually added stuff: 333chans, mechachan, fishchan, Silverjay, SergalChan, Glauchan, Macrochan Alter, Anon-Pass, ZeroChan, Underfoule, Lauerbrett, OtakuTalk (OverText), PetiChan (OfurChan), SketchChan, Regchan, and SSBBWChan.Apologizes for all the chansites that have died between the span of August to Today who wanted to be added. :c
There are a couple of things I do want to elaborate on in regards to chan submission & maintenance, on the wave of constant nagging about how [?????] keeps getting removed and all.
There's only three reasons why a chansite will ever be removed:
- CP*/illegal SPAM
- Browser dysfunctional
- Offline/404
*This one is especially hard to keep in control it seems, especially since most of the sites/chan culture does indulge in drawn loli/shota interests at times, despite the risk it places already, but things really go downhill when actual photos are involved. I really hate dealing with gray areas enough as it is, but the risk factor fills when the boundary keeps getting pushed.
This leads to probably the most frequently asked question ever, about the site 18+ TheOnlyHot. Every single time I add this, I get complaints about it's content as well as issues with the site messing with the browser. Then if I remove it, I get bitched at of why I remove it, while my reasoning get flat out ignored. Either way, I removed it recently because not only did I find CP (yes, 'softcore' nudes fall into this under law) but it also messed with browser. Both out of irritation of drama and content, I'm not re-adding it. This matter is closed.
Also regarding any site that was randomly removed, at the time of checking, it may have appeared offline. Please resend any links if this was a true mistake.
I've always mentioned that sites would be added regardless, just because shit like this would've been common sense, and I guess it's not. So yeah. The official criteria for site submission is no CP, no Spam, can't fuck with the Browser, and it can't be 404/offline. As long as your site doesn't fall into any of that, we're all good.
In regards to 'Untitled Overchan Project (or Overchan V.3)' There hasn't been much news due to both me and Mr.Vile being busy. I'm also rather uncertain of my own involvement, but I'll probably make my own post on my personal blog about it. To that one dude who hates me, yes, I'm a

Since I never knew the owner close enough I'm not sure why the site shut down. I'll see if we can use it's functionality for the future OV22/Ov3 site, somehow.
